Mica Materials for Traction
The technical requirements of traction motors can vary in thermal class according to their use. Reliability and cost-effective solutions are important demands of the industry. This directly impacts the insulation specifications and industrial manufacturing processes. Cogebi provides specially designed materials that meet the specifics of these systems.
KALASTIK 45.002 is used mainly for the insulation of rectangular and round wires in applications up to thermal class 180.
Remikapor 46.012 is a silicone-based, aramid-reinforced mica insulation tape for use in mainwall VPI insulation of machines rated at thermal classes up to 220.
REMIKASIL 46.000 tapes are made of calcined mica paper and glass fabric that are bonded with silicone resin and are intended for silicone-based RR insulation systems of class-180 electric machines. They are used in the primary insulation of coils and other parts of the electric machines, including the insulation of conductors.
COGEMICANITE 400 series: the commutator is a key component of electric DC motors. An appropriate selection of quality mica segments are necessitated by the broad range of thermal conditions required by various operating speeds of all kinds of electrical household appliances, power tools and industrial equipment. Cogemicanite 401-01 is widely used in the standard segments required for small and medium-sized commutators.
