Our Mica sheets contain approximately 90% of mica and a proprietary silicone resin. These sheets or machined / punched parts are widely used in heating elements for industrial and household appliances which require at least one of the following properties:

• Excellent resistance to heat up to 1000 °C
• Excellent electrical insulation
• Excellent microwave permeability
• Excellent punch-ability and high edge strength
• Environmentally safe and non-toxic. 

The thickness range of 505 range is 0.1 – 1.5 mm.  Several grades of Rigid Mica sheets are available:

• 505.3            Muscovite based sheet - standard grade for all heating elements
• 505.3P          Phlogopite based sheet - standard grade for all heating elements
• 505.2            Muscovite based sheet - low smoke and blister free grade
• 505.2P          Phlogopite based sheet - low smoke and blister free grade
• 505.4            Muscovite based sheet - higher density grade with smoother surface
